How many times have you driven down the road and seen a puppy with this head hanging out the window of a car? It always looks happy and healthy, doesn’t it? Canines love taking rides and “going bye-bye” as long as it’s not a trip to the vet. But are long car rides bad for dogs in any way? Many pet owners want to know.

#1. Dogs actually like riding in the car.

#4. There are ways to keep your pup entertained on the road.

You make this whole thing a lot easier on the both of you if some entertainment is offered. Then, your dog won’t feel bored or panicky on long trips. Just be sure to stop for potty breaks, snacks, and leg stretching along the way.
